Xbox 360 broke last month with what I’ve recently learnt is called the Red Ring of Death (RROD :) )

After getting a high quote for repair from a local computer shop I looked online for information on how to fix the problem cheap.

Eventually found a site selling an guide to X-box 360 repair with a money back guarantee if you don’t fix your console within an hour!

So bought a copy, read it through and followed the instructions. It took me around 35 minutes to find and repair the problem (was easy), a week on my Xbox 360 is working perfectly, so couldn’t be happier as with the credit crunch there’s no way I could afford to buy a new one, even the quoted repair cost was too high!
