Defeating Xao Gong

To defeat Xao Gong, use the Chain Blade. When he is making clones of himself, hit him and they will disappear. To hit Xao Gong, jump and press X or B. Then, press B(2), X(4). This will take awhile. When you defeat him, he will transform to a bigger monster with five lives. After he transforms there will be a ramp leading to a higher level. Collect all five elemental weapons. After you collect them, Xao Gong will be easy to defeat because the five weapons are his weakness. Make sure you move a lot. If not, he will hit you with a blue spell that takes almost all your life away.

To create a 100 rated RB, set the upper and lower body strength low enough to put all the other stats at 100. Then, fill up the rest on your upper or lower body strength. The same can be done for a QB, TE, WR, DB, LB, DT, DE. However, for the LB, DT, DE, make sure they are big. For a DT or DE set the weight to 400 lbs. and height about 6′ 0″. For the LB, set the weight at about 260 lbs. and make him 6′ 4″.

When you are playing defense, take your defensive left end and move him to right end so that there will not be anyone covering him. You can also do the same thing with your right defensive end by moving him to the left end. Go to the “Goal Line” formation then go to the first play “Pick Available”. Next, choose one of the following: G L Safety blitz, G L Corner Blitz, or G L Middle Blitz. You can now get easy sacks with your defensive backs.

Get the puck to the offensive zone near the blue line. Hold Deflection/Short Block while shooting. One of your players will skate to the front of the net and deflect the puck in.

Easy goals

If you are skating with someone that has a very high rank in the Deke category such as Joe Sakic, Kariya, etc., once you get past the opposition’s blue line, press Down, then press Auto Deke. Immediately after he is done with the Deke, press Shoot. You will score about 95% of the time.

Easy Goals

First, choose the “Aggressive Faceoff” with the Left Analog-stick. Pass to the player to your right. That exact player can go easily in a breakaway. While you control this player, call for help with the Black button. When you get halfway between the goal and the blue line, stop for about three sec. By stopping, you will dodge the opposing defense’s check. Then, go on in a circular way to the back of the goal. Hold the B button and release it when you get just about past the net. You will score a goal about 80% of the time.

Big head mode

Repeatedly press Black, White, Black, White at the title screen.

Easy goals

Swerve side to side when on breakaway or alone for a shot. When the goalie is to far out of position, shoot a wrist shot to score. This works about 70% of the time. Pause game play and select “Choose Sides”. Choose the opposing team, then select “Pull Goalie”. Resume game play long enough for the goalie to get off the ice. Pause game play again and choose your original team. Then, shoot the puck at the goal and it will slide in before the goalie can return. This is very useful if you are down a few goals at the end of the game.
