Xbox 360 broke last month with what I’ve recently learnt is called the Red Ring of Death (RROD )

After getting a high quote for repair from a local computer shop I looked online for information on how to fix the problem cheap.

Eventually found a site selling an guide to X-box 360 repair with a money back guarantee if you don’t fix your console within an hour!

So bought a copy, read it through and followed the instructions. It took me around 35 minutes to find and repair the problem (was easy), a week on my Xbox 360 is working perfectly, so couldn’t be happier as with the credit crunch there’s no way I could afford to buy a new one, even the quoted repair cost was too high!

Infinite points

You can gain points for certain feats performed during a game. You can use these points to buy cards which unlock cheats, stadiums, jerseys, producers, and players. An easy way to get a lot of points is to throw a perfect game. This is worth 100 points. Switch controls every time the CPU is up at bat and intentionally strike out. This will get you points for 27 strikeouts, and for a perfect game. Repeat this as many times as needed to get an unlimited amount of points.

Restore pitcher’s energy

Wait until your pitcher has low energy then pause game play. If your pitcher is still on the mound, go to “Save Game and Quit”, then save the game. Restart the system, and when you go to the main menu, load the game. When you finish loading, it should automatically take you back to the game, and it should show your pitcher on the mound with the full green energy bar.

View player’s energy in franchise mode

When at the main menu in franchise mode, go to “GM Office”, then “Roster Management”, then “Disabled List”. Look through your players to see which ones are tired (except pitchers). If a starting player is tired, you should bench and rest him for one game.

Ok, so you see that on the Giants roster Barry isn’t there, he signed some deal that said he couldn’t be there this year. You see a guy named Wes Mailman right? Well he took Barry’s spot. Just change his name and skin color and BOOM you have Barry Bonds.

Celebrations

After hitting a homerun, hold or tap the R trigger to blow kisses to the crowd and tap L trigger to do other celebrations.

When your going to fight that big flytrap thingy morph to stealth form and go invisible. Once the beam stops it will make a plastid beatle. Pounce on the beatle and go to gun form. You will be holding the beatle. Then when the flytrap is about to roar, shoot the beatle into its mouth. Repeat this until the flytrap opens. Then get out your sword and hack away until it dies.

Easy strike

Create a ball and make it a 16 pounder with 14.6 hook. Give the ball to a right-handed bowler. When you are in the open bowling at Hollywood, target between the second and third arrows. Stand slightly to the right of the middle or third arrow to the right. Throw as hard as you can and wait until it comes back up. Hook it one line under what you throw. This will get you 8 pines left, 9 pines left, or a strike.

View Replays From Programmers

Go into Replay Theater and highlight Hard Disk. Press Right until you see Game Disc. You will find replays from the programmers. You can also play these levels by highlighting a replay, then go up to Watch Replay. Press Right until you see Challenge.

Fixing Save Glitch

If you are having trouble with a saved game, please try this method, which requires a memory card.

1. Go to the Xbox dashboard (open the tray) and copy your Apex files to the memory-card (savegame and setup)
2. Delete the files on the xbox.
3. Reboot the xbox without a disc.
4. Copy the files back to the xbox.
5. Apex should work now.

Easy Pass

When you are racing try to get on the side where there are no cars or like one car, and burn some rubber. It is guaranteed it will work if you do it right. Make sure to go on the side where there is only like one car so you have space to get speed without crashing.
