Xbox 360 broke last month with what I’ve recently learnt is called the Red Ring of Death (RROD )

After getting a high quote for repair from a local computer shop I looked online for information on how to fix the problem cheap.

Eventually found a site selling an guide to X-box 360 repair with a money back guarantee if you don’t fix your console within an hour!

So bought a copy, read it through and followed the instructions. It took me around 35 minutes to find and repair the problem (was easy), a week on my Xbox 360 is working perfectly, so couldn’t be happier as with the credit crunch there’s no way I could afford to buy a new one, even the quoted repair cost was too high!

Unlock Professor Gutenburg

Go into adventure mode and go to the torpedo run. Three subs will display on your radar. One of them is a yellow sub with the professor on it. Unlock the code by shooting two torpedoes at the yellow sub.

Island Jack

At danger island when you get to the jungle go below the trees. You will see a giant snake wrapped around a tree branch near the end on the left side of the jungle, shoot it and you will unlock Island Jack.

Andre LaToilette

In Bigfoot Mt. at the beginningof the level you will see a house on a hill. In front of that house is a snowman. Shoot the snowman and eventually it will say you have unlocked Andre LaToilette.

FMV sequences

Level 1: Finding the only Nibbler

First, find the hammer that is supporting all the junk. When Fry picks it up, he will die and the screen will say ‘Game Over’. However, this is only a joke. After the Professor explains about ‘The Re-animator’, he will give Fry the hammer. Go over to the lockers. Open the locker that reads ‘Hermes’ and you will see a red cage with a Nibbler in it. Smash the cage with the hammer, and touch the Nibbler. Once a Nibbler disappear, it indicates that you have rescued it. You can only rescue the one in Hermes’s locker after you get the hammer, because you have to smash the cage open
