Galaga

To prevent the aliens from returning fire, allow all of the aliens to appear on the screen before you fire a shot a them, then shoot all of them apart from the first two (yellow/blue colour) on the left hand side of the screen. Put the kettle on and make a cup of coffee while the two remaining ships are left to fly around for fifteen minutes. When you are certain that they have stopped firing at you then shoot them. All other aliens will now refrain from firing back at you for the rest of the game.

Borders

If you are playing either SUPER PAC-MAN, GAPLUS, GROBDA, or MAPPY, pause during game play. Now, press the directional button in any direction to reveal 2 special borders where the score count is. If you don’t like them, simply press the directional button until you are rid of it. NOTE: This is best experienced with the Simulated Arcade Mode, and will not work on Vertical Mode.

Invulnerable

Make your helicopter invulnerable. At loading screen after given mission orders press and hold L1+L2+R1+R2 for entire load time, CHEAT will appear.

Grobda

At the Grobda screen hold L2+L1+R1+R2 and press START.

Alternate Tracks

Press Triangle to display the options menu. Select Test and press Triangle when the Test screen appears. Select Dip Sw to display the DIP switch screen. Press Up to enable switch 1 in the left box. Return to the options screen and select the Game option. Press Triangle after the game loads and select the new Course option. All four tracks will now have a new layout.

Faster Game

Press Select 32 times during demo to add to the credits total in the bottom right corner of the screen. Hold Select and press Start to begin game play in turbo mode.

Turbo Mode

Pinnacle Car

You can only do this trick in exhibition mode. Go to the Race Setup/Car Select screen and highlight the Bobby Labonte car. Then hold X then press Up, Down. Note: You will lose this car if you leave Exhibition Mode.
