Final Trials Of Bloodright

Complete all missions without any failures to get to the Trials of Bloodright after the last mission. A number next to your name on the registration screen indicates a failure. Press [Esc] and select the “Flee to DOS” option before the mission ends to prevent the failure from being recorded. Note: You may also enable the “Invincibility” or “End mission successfully” to accomplish this task.

Easy Mech salvage

Note: This trick requires the v1.1 patch. To salvage mechs almost totally intact, enable the “Invincibility” and “Jump Jets” codes. Then, jump up and land on top of them until they die in a “death from above” maneuver.

Disable Heat Death

To disable heat death (not exploding when you overheat) do the following. Take a mech that overheats by shuting down or explodes when perfoming an alpha strike. As soon as you do the alpha strike, quickly use your coolant by pressing the F key. You should recieve a message that says, “Heat death disabled.”

Easier Salvage

To salvage enemy mechs easier all you have to do is to shoot off one of the enemy mech’s legs. An easy way to do this a group a lot of medium pulse lasers together and fire them at one leg. NOTE: This trick doesn’t always work, but it does increase your chances for salvage.

Save Weight

When modifying your mech, get rid of the boosters, as they not only don’t carry you very far, they often overheat your mech if you’re not careful.

The Bubbles are located on the third stage of Dr. Wily’s Fortress. Hit the slow Bubbles with the Arm Cannon (Mega Man’s weapon), then use the Super Arm to pick up the blocks and throw them at the fast Bubbles.

Defeating the Clone of Mega Man

The Clone of Mega Man is located on the second stage of Dr. Wily’s Fortress. Hit the Clone with the Elec Beam (Elecman’s weapon) or Hyper Bombs (Bomb Man’s weapon) and use the “Extra damage” trick.

Type xstuff during game play for all X armor, all abilities (Cutter man’s scissor throw, etc.) at maximum, all four Energy Tanks filled, full health capacity, and all Bosses completed except for the last three inside the Main Fortress.

Get Upgraded X-Buster early

The Helmet, Boots, and some luck are required for this trick. You usually get the Upgraded X-Buster from Zero, but you can get it much earlier than that. In the Flaming Mammoth Stage, there is a part where mine workers throw picks at you, and where you get the heart and sub-tank. Before you enter there, there is a small location that you can break with your helmet just at the entrance of that room. With luck, you can reach the place with your boots and break the blocks with your helmet. Then, climb straight up to get it.

To get one of the E Tanks, go to the Cyber level and get the S rank. To do this, jump on the platform that does not have an enemy. Go to Ray’s stage area 2. Survive until you see two boxes, a space, and one box. In that space is the other E tank.
