Hex edit

Begin a new career and save the game. Write down amount of money you have, convert it to hex string, break it onto two parts and switch their positions (example: 1000 > 03 E8 > E8 03). Use any hex editor to open the savegame file (it’s in the “LeadfootDataSaved Game” folder). Find your string and replace it with EA 60 for example to to get 60,000. Now, load your savegame.

If you control the harvesters on the LED fields, and you only let them harvest 200 units from a full flower and tell it harvest from a different flower, the flower never gets used up and therefore grows back. So you never have to replant the field. The total amount you get from a full grown flower is 250. Keep it below that and the flower grows back. If you keep this up then one little field of LED will give you endless money. Plus you don’t need to use many seeders and you don’t have to wait for the fields to turn over. Since the game gives you a little field to start out with then you will always have a lot of money.

Defeating Stone Statues

A bit into the game you will start to encounter stone statues that come to life and attack. An easy way to defeat them is to exit combat mode and run close to it. When it starts to attack, get out of range. It will hit the ground and be on its knees for a short time. Jump near it and press Y to do a mighty chop attack. The back of this creature tends to be its weak point. This will get more difficult depending on how many of them attack you at once. It seems that the most that will attack at once is three.

Extra tribute

Save the game, then allow the game run idle. This will create lots of tribute in the towns that you have control over. Make sure to turn off all power management and screensavers first.

Using high attribute armor or weapons

To use armor or weapons that require a higher attribute, place rings, amulets, and any armor or weapons that you have on other characters with the required attributes needed onto your character. You can now use the item in red. You can then replace all rings, amulets etc. to their original locations. You will still have the item in place, even though you no longer meet the requirements.
