To save your stats when you’ve been shot down, hit and choose ‘Exit to DOS’ before you crash and the disastrous mission results won’t be saved. To make sure you hit ground targets every time with the freefall MK82 and MK84 bombs, fly low over the target, say at about 1,000 feet. When you’re about a mile away cut the throttle to 30% and switch to the outside
view, looking from behind your plane. The target appears between your plane and the bottom of the screen, and when it’s in the middle of the gap, drop thebombs. You should score nearly 100% accuracy, which means you can load for multi-role duty every time you fly.

Desintagrate enemies

This is a fun little cheat I found. You go to the third mission and fly to the left until you find a landing strip. Go and land on the pad, they will say you found a secret strip and give you a desintagration gun.

Game Help

Your missiles particularly air to ground types such as the Maverick tend to behave erratically on many occasions. Try not to fire when you’re near any type of terrain obstruction, and when all else fails use the Unlimited Ammo cheat to thwart frustration.

Don’t blindly use the default aircraft and Loadout selection for the missions. Watch these carefully, as they do not always make sense. Many times you’ll find that the computer gives you the F-14 for a ground-strike mission when the F-18 would be the better choice. Mavericks are awesome at taking out ground targets from a relatively safe distance, so take extras long if you can.

Unlimited lives

There should be an extra life directly under you once the second level begins. Collect it, then go straight to any monster and let it kill you. Each time you get 1000 points, you get an extra life. Repeat this to build your points and extra lives.

Refill your fuel

While you?re playing any level, hold down the ‘TAB’ and ‘2′ key on the keyboard and then press the ‘F’ key. Note: Hold down the ‘2′ key over the ‘W’ and ‘E’ keys, not on the numpad.

Exchange Puzzle

Clue: Return all balls to the like-colored background. A ball can either move one square or jump over a ball of another color. Once a ball has been placed onto a matching background, it cannot be moved again.

Additional Clue: first solve the horizontal sub-puzzle, then the vertical one.

Level Skip

When the game starts press and hold Ctrl (control), and Shift, with these both held down, press F12. The level should skip. This works on any level.

Infinite Lives

During the game, type in “Lives”. You should now have infinite lives.

High completion percentage

Click anywhere you want to make a line, but be sure at least one side will not be hit by a ball. Before the line touches, use the “Level skip” code and the percentage will be higher than 100% after the line connects. Note: You will not get full score for this. Only regular scoring will occur.

In the game press:
Ctrl + T + U = Turbo Speed
Ctrl + G + U = Win Campaign

At the name entry screen put the cursor over the plane’s name and press :
Ctrl + Ctrl + Enter = All aircraft in the game.

In the Pilot Select Screen hit Left and Right Control keys at same time, and at same time the enter key while. You’ll now be able to cycle through every plane and helicopter in the game.

Extra Teams

Win the Territories Cup during normal game play. Use the “Play” option to access another league with bonus teams such as the Barbarians, British Lions, and World XV. Use the “Play” option again after winning the cup from that league to access yet another group of bonus teams, including the Codemasters, Rage All-Stars, and Team Lomu.
