To activate the code type WWW.VOLITION-INC.COM, then hold the tilde ‘~’ key and type the following:

C - Send message to enemies.
Shift C - Toggle availability of countermeasures for all ships.
K - Kill target.
Shift K - Destroy targeted subsystem.
Alt K - 10% damage to yourself.
I - Invulnerability.
Shift I - Toggle invulnerability for target.
O - Toggle Descent-style physics.

Cheat Codes

While playing a game, type “www.freespace2.com” to enable cheat mode. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheats activated” will appear. Then, hold ~ and type one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Enabling cheat codes will prevent mission advancement. The infinite weapons code however can be used without penalty in campaign mode. Simply enable the code in single mission mode. Quit the single mission and resume a campaign mode game.

During the game press left shift and f11 at the same time. You will now get a cheat menu. Type HOLLOW MAN (enter) to be invincible. Hit enter to get back to the game.

To win the level and get to the next level, you go to the cheat menu (left shift and F11) and you type CLINT (enter). To get back to the game hit enter.

Cheat Method

This cheat involves editing a game file. Always make a backup before making changes to original game files. Also note that this file may be “READ ONLY”. You will need to go to the properties of the file and uncheck “read only” before making your changes. Locate the “default.ini” file in your game folder. Open it with Notepad and make the following changes:

For god mode, find the following lines and change the values to 0.0:
