Hint

As you work your way through the puzzles keep track of the letters that appear on the screen after you solve the puzzle. You will need them later. Several of the puzzles contain clues that seem to make no sense at all and are just random letters. Try saying the letters out loud to determine if they can become a word. For instance, if the clue is “PL”, out loud this could become “PEEL” or “PEAL”.

Spoiler for last elevators puzzle

Warning: the last note can potentially spoil gameplay! The last set of elevators can be traversed using one single key. Press the far right key and all the others will align for the 3 to cross all the way from left to right immediately.

Waving flag

Select a country’s postcard. Display the large version of the flag. Hold [Option] and click on the flag to animate it as if it were waving in the wind. Move the Mouse to control the flag pole. Press the cursor keys to change the wind direction.

View programmers

Select a country’s postcard. Hold [Command] + [Option] and click on any photo. One of the programmers will appear on the photo. Note: This trick may require 3D Atlas ‘98.

Go through checkpoint 2, but continue straight instead of following the track. Pass between two hangars and continue straight across a small lake. Ahead of you will be an American flag. At the base of this is another hangar. A money box is next to the hangar.

When playing a mission in which multiple A-10s are controlled, use one plane against the radar-controlled anti-aircraft sites. Dive from high altitude at the site to take it out.

Cheat mode

Enter the simulator and press [Command] + S to enable cheat mode. Press X to use the mouse to control the flight of the aircraft. Repeatedly press 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, or 8 on the Keypad to move in the corresponding direction. Press 5 on the Keypad to stop. Press [Enter] to fire Maverick missiles and click the Mouse Button to fire the cannon. Press [Option] + [Tab] to increase your aircraft’s altitude by 500 feet. To return to the cockpit, type 61.
