Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders:

Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.

When you are in any town, look for a bar. If you have no bread talk to the waitress and she will give you some. Talk to the bartender if you have no ether and he will give you some.

You can get 60 spells. The spell Extinction kills and enemy in one hit. Compression lowers the attack of an enemy. Exit lets you exit a dungeon. Return lets you go back to the spot where you exited. Try new combinations of spells to kill even the hardest enemies in the game.
