Quick Continue

Lose all your lives and continue, then take the Iron and drop it in the Pool of Fire to get the Glass Key. Go down the passage and use the key to open the door. Continue down the passage to find the Vitriolk. Pick it up and use it to be warped back to where you were before you were defeated.

Level Drop

Call up the Map, then press B, Select and Down simultaneously. This allows you to drop down a level from the level you are currently on.

On either the Game Over screen or when it flips back to the Title screen, hold A and press Start.

Stage Select Plus

When the Title screen appears, press Up, Up, Down, Down, A, B, A and B. Then hold A and press Start. “W 1-1″ will appear in the top-left corner, indicating that World 1-1 is the current stage. Press Up/Down to change the stage number, then press Start to begin. This allows you to begin your game in the stage of your choice. You will also begin with 80 fighters in reserve as well as 90 miracle kicks.

Super Jump

To super jump, press B to jump then Start to pause the action while Abe is still in mid-air. Push Start again and press B before he lands. Abe will jump higher! By repeating this process, Abe will reach considerable heights.

Chant in the Password Screen
