Arcbeetle

After finishing the tournament, face the Rubberobos. It takes skill and practice to defeat them, especially Seaslug. However, with the missile head, shoot accurately and it will be a one-hit kill. After defeating the Rubberobos, open your tournament prize for Arcbeetle, the Medabot Space Fighter X uses. The Prominence (head part attack) is only valid twice per battle. Although limited in number, it makes up in power.

Easy wins

During a Robattle, jump to a top corner and hold Down to charge your special. When full, press Select close to your opponent to do serious damage. Repeat if necessary.

When playing as Bass, take out one of your special weapons and deplete all of its energy. Once you have run out of energy for that weapon, you will shoot Megaman’s Buster shots. You cannot charge your Buster like Megaman does.

Wrong Names

If you look in the manual and in the game, you will notice that Proto Man is given the name “Blues”, Treble is given the name “Gospel”, and Auto is given the name “Lightott”. These names are actually the Japanese names of the characters translated into English. Mega Man And Bass was originally released in 1998 in Japan for SNES as Rockman And Forte.

WWW area

Successfully complete the game to unlock the WWW area. Go to Ula Internet area 4 and look for a glowing red warp. Enter it to access the WWW area. Note: You cannot exit once you enter, so saving the game is recommended.

Hard mode

Successfully complete the game with all five stars. Highlight the “New Game” option at the title screen, then press Left(2), Right, Left, Right, Left, Right(2). The ”New Game” option will turn orange to confirm correct code entry. Select that option and the “Netbattle” option will not longer be available. Save the game, then restart. A “Hard Mode” option will now be unlocked under the ”New Game” and ”Continue” options.
