Behind the Scenes

From the disc’s main menu go to [Language Selection]. Once on that new screen, press the [Right arrow key on your remote control and Monkeybone will appear with a sign reading, "Press Play To The Organ Harvest". Press [Enter] now and you will see a short behind-the-scenes clip about the special effects from the movie’s organ donor scene.

Bonus Interview

From the [Main Menu] go to the [Special Features] section and there highlight the last menu entry on the page, [Production Credits]. Now press the [Right] arrow key on your remote control and a figure will be highlighted at the bottom right of the screen. Press the [Enter] key on your remote control and you will be treated to a 12-minute interview with one of the guys who played an extra ghoul in the last story. He happens to be a slingshot expert who also helped with the film.

Hidden menu

Insert Disc 2. Select the “Humans Only” door and advance to Chapter 7. The disc will automatically advance to Title 9 and seven doors should appear, leading to a clip about the Pixar atrium, a monkey joke, a pre-production sequence, a clip from the movie, two outtakes, and the disc’s production credits.

Outtakes

Insert Disc 2. Select the “Monsters Only” door, then highlight the right-pointing arrow under the “New Monster Adventures” text. Press Right to highlight the “eye” in the Monsters, Inc. logo. Press Enter to view the outtakes.

Highlight the “A Word From Baz” option and press Left or Right. A fairy will appear. Select it to view a clip about how Baz Luhrmann inspired the Argentine actor for the tango scene.
