Cheat: Level Select

Make sure you have two controllers plugged in. Go to the level select screen. Hold the UP button on the second controller, and then press START, SELECT, SELECT, SQUARE. All the levels should be unlocked.

Glitch: Exceed Normal Ammo Maximum

Normally, all guns carry a nominal maximum of reserve bullets (i.e., MP40 carries 32 in the magazine and 160 rounds in reserve). You can exceed this maxima for your non-default guns by dying and restarting from a checkpoint.

There’s such an over saturation of movies to video games that its hard to tell whats worth playing and what isn’t. Especially when we’ve had several of these types of games come along and wow us with their surprisingly good gameplay. Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth is the next game to saunter up and make us go wow.

Xbox 360 broke last month with what I’ve recently learnt is called the Red Ring of Death (RROD )

After getting a high quote for repair from a local computer shop I looked online for information on how to fix the problem cheap.

Eventually found a site selling an guide to X-box 360 repair with a money back guarantee if you don’t fix your console within an hour!

So bought a copy, read it through and followed the instructions. It took me around 35 minutes to find and repair the problem (was easy), a week on my Xbox 360 is working perfectly, so couldn’t be happier as with the credit crunch there’s no way I could afford to buy a new one, even the quoted repair cost was too high!

I’ve been playing Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures since it’s first release in Europe, well to be completely accurate two days after AoC was released 23rd of May and it rocks.

This is not the only massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) I’ve played, been playing The World of Warcraft online game for about two years (just before the Burning Crusade release) and also dabbled in Entropia Universe (which I hated) and Runescape (which is free, but not as enticing as WOW and now AoC).

Update: I’ve also played the beta release of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and have preordered the full release game (I might make this my main MMO game).

Avoiding Turrets

Roll all the way and, don’t run, when the turrets are shooting at you. Stay on the right side by the door and wait for the target closest to you to come up. Roll behind it and wait until the gun has shot all of the target away; it only shoots enough bullets to do that. Then, the target in the middle will come up. Quickly roll again behind that one, and wait. Next, run and roll between the guns. If you get hurt, there is a medpack on the wall. Run and do a jump kick to the scientist. The guns will have destroyed themselves and you will be fine.
